Verona

Verona is easily reachable by car from Riva del Garda. The venetian city is one of the most important cultural centres of Italy. You can breathe the magic of Shakespeare masterpiece, Romeo and Juliette, in every corner of the city.
Visit Juliette house with its famous bronze statue to be the protagonist of the most famous love story and rediscover the palpitation of the “falling in love” under the famous balcony.
Among the streets of the centre you will find the Montecchi house, where Romeo lived, and the grave of his lover.
The symbol of Verona is the amphitheatre Arena di Verona where still takes place big events, the opera and concerts. Walking along the main street you will reach Piazza delle Erbe which is a meeting point of Verona citizens. Admire the Lamberti Tower, 84 metres high or the rib which hangs from the Arch of Costa. The legend says this is the lucifer Rib but the truth is that is a whale rib used in the past by traders as sign.
Art and Nature lovers have a large choice here: the archaeological museum at the Roman theatre, the modern art Gallery at Forti Palace, the natural history Museum and the Gran Guardia Palace are just some points of interest of the city.
